The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) in the USA has admitted quietly on its own Facebook Page that Covid19 is a “high severity flu.”

This is exactly what many people have been saying for a long time, and which the authorities have been busily denying. The CDC refer specifically to “a recent high severity flu season,” so they are clearly not addressing the 1957/58 Asian flu. That flu actually did attack children in a big way, unlike Covid19. But there was no lockdown, no crash of the economy, no talk of a “new normal” while we waited months or years for a vaccine. Throughout history epidemics have come and gone. We learned to quarantine the sick, not the healthy. We got back to normal as soon as the disease passed. Why, today, are all the lessons of history, and everything we know from good science, being ignored?
